DOROTHY HENRIKSEN - Marketing Director
Dorothy “Dottie” Henriksen was raised in Sound Beach, Long Island, NY. Dottie is happily married to Gary Henriksen and they have four adult children. Family and worship is very important, as Dottie and Gary make several trips a year to see their children in NY and Pennsylvania, as well as being active members in their church. Dottie has an extensive background in banking as well as obtaining her Life Insurance license and Notary appointment in Georgia. She also has a reputable knowledge of Bookkeeping and Income Tax Preparation; however, her main purpose here at Ironclad is to network and mingle with the folks and bring in business, which she does very well.
She enjoys working with people and feels that women, in general, have been mostly ignored by the financial services industry as a whole. Subsequently, she has geared Ironclad Tax Accounting, LLC towards women and their financial needs, objectives and dreams, specifically business start-ups. Whether, you are a widow, single parent, a special-needs parent, divorced or just came into a financial settlement, Dottie will listen and work with you to achieve your financial goals.
PATRICIA SANTANIELLO – Senior Accountant
Patricia Santaniello was raised in East Islip, Long Island, NY, but now lives in Hauppauge, LI. Patricia is happily married to Michael Santaniello, a pilot, and has two adult children. She enjoys traveling to the Caribbean and spending time with her family and neighbors. Patricia has been with Ironclad Tax Accounting, LLC since the inception and has an extensive background in Accounting and Administration, specifically Tax Planning. She has a degree in Accounting and a Masters in Administration. Patricia is responsible for managing the Smithtown, Long Island satallite office and works with both individuals and small businesses, saving them tax dollars through proper planning and financial advice.
GARY HENRIKSEN – General Partner
Gary was raised in Hauppauge, Long Island, NY. He is a Civil War enthusiast and has an avid interest in American Muscle Cars. Along with Dottie, Gary has been providing comprehensive Accounting and Income Tax services to individuals, non-profits and small businesses for over sixteen years. After four years in the United States Marine Corps, Gary began his financial career in the banking. During that time, he earned a degree in Banking, Insurance and Real Estate by attending night college, while working and raising a family. Gary and Dottie always had the entrepreneurial spirit and in 1992, Ironclad Financial Services was created for the accounting and tax needs of individuals and small businesses in the Long Island area. In addition, Gary obtained his Insurance and Securities licenses so that he could help implement both simple and complex Financial Plans that his practice would offer. In 1998, Gary and Dottie moved to Atlanta, GA, while still maintaining a presence on Long Island through Patricia. Gary dropped his Financial Planning services and changed the name of the company to Ironclad Tax Accounting, LLC, as the company was growing rapidly and was focusing more on taxes than investments. He did; however, keep his insurance licenses and created Merrimac Insurance Planning Solutions, LLC here in Hiram. Gary enjoys working with small businesses and is very active in non-profits. He is also involved with mentoring Georgia’s youth through various programs and is currently Treasurer of METH Alliance of Paulding, a non-profit, providing drug education to individuals and their families regarding addition to methanphetamines. He has extensive experience in Income Tax and problematic IRS issues, as well as hosting Tax Seminars in the Metro-Atlanta area. Also, having owned and managed a Home Improvement company for 14 years and being a General Partner in this practice for another 17 years, Gary understands the needs and decisions relative to starting and operating a successful small business. Gary is currently a Certified Senior Advisor and will be attending school earn his Enrolled Agent designation.
